Repeat Sessions
To achieve a permanently smooth beardline, multiple sessions are required. These are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, targeting hair follicles during their active growth cycle for maximum effectiveness.
Before & After Treatment
- Shave or Trim: Carefully shave or trim the nose hair 24 hours prior to your appointment. Use a small electric trimmer or safety scissors to avoid nicks inside the nose.
- Strict Sun Avoidance: The nose is the most sun-exposed part of the face. Wear a hat and use high SPF for 2 weeks prior. Sunburn on the nose is common and will prevent treatment.
- Clean Skin: Ensure the nose area is free from makeup, sunscreen, oils, or heavy creams before arriving. Residue can interfere with the laser light.
- No Plucking: Do not tweeze, wax, or thread nose hairs for 4 weeks before the session. The laser targets the root, so it must be present.
- Skip Actives: Avoid using strong skincare acids (Retinol, Salicylic Acid) on the nose for 3 days before treatment to reduce skin sensitivity.
- Cool Compress: The nose may feel warm or look slightly red (like a mild sunburn) immediately after. Apply a cool compress or aloe vera to soothe it.
- Sun Protection: You must apply SPF 50+ to your nose daily. The treated skin is highly sensitive to UV rays and prone to pigmentation if unprotected.
- Gentle Cleansing: Wash your face gently with cool or lukewarm water. Avoid scrubbing the nose area or using harsh exfoliants for 48 hours.
- Avoid Heat: Steer clear of hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms for 24 hours. Heat can increase inflammation in the small capillaries of the nose.
