Microneedling (Face & Hair)

Revitalize your skin’s structural integrity and scalp health with professional Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, at Rose Hill Aesthetics. This sophisticated, minimally invasive treatment utilizes ultra-fine clinical needles to create controlled micro-injuries, triggering your body’s natural regenerative response. When applied to the face, it stimulates a massive surge in collagen and elastin production to smooth scars and wrinkles; when applied to the scalp, it encourages follicular circulation and cell regeneration to support healthy hair growth. Experience a transformative approach to rejuvenation that works from the inside out.

Benefits of Microneedling (Face & Hair)

Reduces Scarring (Face): Effectively breaks down old scar tissue and stimulates repair, significantly improving the appearance of acne scars.

Improves Texture (Face): Diminishes fine lines, wrinkles, and pore size, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more uniform skin.

Stimulates Hair Growth (Hair): Increases blood flow and introduces growth factors to dormant hair follicles, encouraging natural hair regrowth and density.

Enhances Product Absorption: Creates micro-channels that allow therapeutic serums (like PRP or specialized boosters) to penetrate up to 80% deeper into the skin.

Microneedling Process | Rose Hill Aesthetics
The Regeneration Cycle

Dermal Induction

A high-precision clinical protocol designed to trigger natural repair and structural resurfacing at Rose Hill Aesthetics.

01

Precision Preparation

We begin by sterilizing the treatment area (face or scalp) and applying a high-potency topical numbing agent. This ensures that the subsequent creation of micro-channels is a comfortable clinical experience.

02

Mechanical Induction

Using medical-grade vertical needling technology, we create thousands of controlled micro-channels. This triggers the body’s "wound-healing" cascade, immediately mobilizing collagen-producing fibroblasts.

03

Active Infusion

During the needling process, clinical-grade serums are infused into the micro-channels. These active nutrients reach the deeper dermis or hair follicles with significantly higher bio-availability than topical application.

04

Structural Remodeling

Post-treatment, the skin begins a 4-6 week remodeling phase. New collagen and elastin fibers are synthesized, progressively smoothing scars, refining texture, or strengthening hair follicles from the root.

Regeneration Protocol

Optimizing collagen induction & follicular health

Active Ingredient Cessation:

Discontinue the use of Retinol (Vitamin A), AHAs, BHAs, and other strong chemical exfoliants for 5 days prior to treatment. This ensures the dermal barrier is stable and prevents excessive post-procedure sensitivity.

Vascular Integrity:

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and anti-inflammatory medications (like Ibuprofen) for 3 days before your session. Maintaining natural blood-clotting factors ensures the micro-channels heal precisely and minimizes bruising.

UV Defense & Tanning:

Avoid intentional sun exposure or tanning beds for 1 week prior. We cannot perform Microneedling on sunburnt or highly sensitized skin as it compromises the regenerative response.

Clean Foundation:

Please arrive with the treatment area (face or scalp) clean and free of products. For hair treatments, please wash your hair on the morning of the procedure using a mild shampoo; avoid styling products or hair fibers.

The 24-Hour Sterility Window:

Avoid touching the treated area and do not apply any makeup or non-prescribed hair products for 24 hours. Keep the micro-channels clean to prevent infection and allow the initial repair phase to conclude.

Thermal & Activity Restrictions:

Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and hot power-showers for 48 hours. Excessive heat and sweat can increase inflammation and lead to unwanted post-procedure swelling.

Strict UV Protection:

Freshly needled skin is highly vulnerable to hyperpigmentation. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily and avoid direct sunlight for at least 7 days. If the scalp was treated, wear a loose-fitting hat when outdoors.

Gentle Restoration:

Resume your normal skincare or hair routine only after 72 hours. Avoid active ingredients (Retinol/Acids) for 7 days. Focus on hydration and use the provided restorative serums to support the remodeling phase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Microneedling painful?
We prioritize comfort by applying a professional-grade topical numbing cream before the treatment begins. You may feel a slight vibrating or sandpaper-like sensation, but it is generally very tolerable.
How long is the downtime for face treatments?
For facial microneedling, the skin typically looks red (like a sunburn) for 24 hours, and mild pinkness may persist for up to 48 hours. Most clients can resume normal social activities after a day.
How many sessions are recommended?
A course of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, is typically recommended to see optimal improvement in scarring and skin texture. Hair restoration may require 4 to 8 sessions.
Can I combine Microneedling with PRP?
Yes, Microneedling with PRP is a highly recommended combination (often called the ‘Vampire Facial’). Applying your own PRP during the treatment delivers powerful growth factors directly into the micro-channels for enhanced results.
