Optimizing Brightness and Under-Eye Recovery
Blood Thinner Protocol:
The under-eye area is extremely delicate. Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and ibuprofen for 48 hours prior to your session to minimize the risk of bruising and swelling.
Cleanse the Eye Area:
Arrive strictly free of eye makeup, under-eye concealer, and heavy eye creams. If you wear lash extensions, please ensure they are clean and dry.
Eye Health Check:
Ensure you do not have active styes, conjunctivitis, or infections near the eyes. If you have had recent eye surgery, please consult with us before booking.
Social Planning:
Lumi Eyes can cause minor swelling for the first 24–48 hours. Plan your treatment at least 1 week before major social events to allow full recovery.
Manage Papules:
Small raised bumps under the eyes are normal. These contain the PDRN formula and will typically absorb into the skin within 24 to 48 hours. Do not rub or massage them.
Sleeping Position:
Sleep with your head slightly elevated on an extra pillow for the first night. This encourages lymphatic drainage and reduces morning puffiness.
Strict Makeup Ban:
Avoid under-eye concealer or eye makeup for at least 12–24 hours. The injection points must remain clean to prevent infection in this sensitive area.
Avoid Heat & Pressure:
Avoid saunas, hot showers, and strenuous exercise for 48 hours. Do not wear tight goggles or heavy glasses that rest directly on the treated under-eye area.
