The Luxury of Effortless Legs

Rose Hill Icon

Full Perimeter Smoothness

Unlike shaving, which often leaves "missed spots" around the back of the thighs or ankles, our laser treatment provides 360-degree coverage. We ensure every inch from your ankles to your hips is uniformly silky.

Rose Hill Icon

Eradicate "Strawberry Skin"

Shaving irritates the hair follicles, leading to dark dots known as strawberry legs. Laser therapy neutralizes the follicle, allowing the pores to tighten and the skin surface to become visibly clearer and more refined.

Rose Hill Icon

Zero In-Grown Hairs

The thick hair on the lower legs is notorious for curling back under the skin. By targeting the hair at the root, laser treatment prevents in-growns entirely, sparing you from painful bumps and potential scarring.

Rose Hill Icon

Reclaim Your Time

The average person spends over 70 days of their lifetime shaving their legs. Full leg laser hair removal is a permanent investment that removes this chore from your daily routine forever.

Rose Hill Icon

Enhanced Skin Tone

Repeated razor friction can cause subtle darkening (hyperpigmentation) of the skin. Once you stop shaving and start laser, your skin tone has the chance to heal and return to its natural, bright radiance.

The Process

Your Journey to Smooth Skin

Client consultation

Consultation

Your journey begins with a bespoke consultation. We assess your skin and hair type, discuss your medical history, and tailor the optimal laser settings to ensure safe, effective, and radiant results.

Preparation

Preparation

The area to be treated will be cleansed and prepared. While we recommend shaving 24 hours prior, we ensure the skin is perfectly prepped. Protective eyewear is provided to ensure your safety throughout the procedure.

Laser Application

Laser Application

Our advanced laser technology is adjusted to your specific hair density and skin tone. The light energy targets the pigment in the follicles, effectively inhibiting future growth while leaving the surrounding skin untouched.

Cooling

Cooling & Comfort

Comfort is paramount at Rose Hill. Following the laser application, integrated cooling technology or a soothing gel is applied to calm the skin instantly, reducing redness and ensuring a pleasant experience.

Aftercare

After-Care

Post-treatment care is vital. We apply a soothing aloe vera gel to promote healing. We advise avoiding direct sun exposure and using high SPF protection for two weeks to maintain the health and radiance of your skin.

Repeat Sessions

Repeat Sessions

To achieve a permanently smooth beardline, multiple sessions are required. These are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, targeting hair follicles during their active growth cycle for maximum effectiveness.

Full Legs Protocol

  • Full Surface Shave: Thoroughly shave both legs from the ankle to the top of the thigh 24 hours before your session. A close shave ensures the laser energy is absorbed by the follicle rather than hair on the surface.
  • Zero Tan Policy: Avoid sunbeds, sunbathing, and fake tan for 2-4 weeks prior. Tanned skin (even from a bottle) can lead to pigment changes or blistering as the laser is attracted to the dark pigment.
  • Exfoliate for Clarity: Gently exfoliate your legs 2 days before your appointment to remove dead skin cells. This helps the laser reach the follicles more efficiently and prevents ingrown hairs.
  • Skip the Lotion: Arrive with clean legs. Avoid applying any body oils, moisturizers, or shimmery leg creams on the day of treatment, as these can coat the hair and act as a barrier.
  • Comfortable Clothing: Wear loose-fitting trousers or a long skirt to your session. Avoid tight leggings or skinny jeans that might irritate the skin immediately after the laser.
  • Avoid Heat & Friction: For 48 hours, avoid hot baths, saunas, and vigorous exercise. Sweat and high heat can aggravate the treated follicles, leading to "bacne" style bumps or prolonged redness.
  • Sun Protection: The legs are a large target for UV. If your legs are exposed to daylight, apply SPF 50+ daily for 2 weeks post-treatment to prevent hyperpigmentation.
  • Soothe with Aloe: If you experience any "prickly heat" sensation, apply pure Aloe Vera gel. Avoid using heavy, fragranced lotions for the first 24 hours.
  • Let it Shed: You may see "black dots" or stubble appearing after a week. This is actually dead hair shedding from the follicle. Do not wax or pluck these; let them fall out naturally.
  • Gentle Exfoliation: One week after your session, start gently exfoliating with a loofah or mitt 2-3 times a week to help the dead hair shed and keep the skin smooth.

Full Legs FAQ | Rose Hill Aesthetics
Leg Care Experts

Full Legs FAQs

  • Generally, the Full Legs package covers the area from the ankles up to the top of the thighs.
  • The feet and toes are considered a separate "Small Area." However, many of our clients choose to add them on to their leg package for a seamless, head-to-toe smooth finish.
  • Because the legs are one of the largest treatment areas, a session typically takes 40 to 50 minutes.
  • Our practitioners work meticulously to ensure 100% coverage, including difficult areas like the back of the thighs and the crease of the knees.
  • Areas where the bone is closer to the skin, such as the shins, knees, and ankles, can feel slightly more "snappy" than the meatier parts of the thigh.
  • Our laser features advanced sapphire cooling technology that chills the skin on contact, making the experience significantly more comfortable than waxing.
  • Laser hair removal is generally safe for those with minor spider veins. However, we avoid treating directly over raised or prominent varicose veins.
  • During your initial consultation, we will assess the area to ensure the treatment is safe and effective for your specific skin and vein health.
