Preparation
The area to be treated will be cleansed and prepared. While we recommend shaving 24 hours prior, we ensure the skin is perfectly prepped. Protective eyewear is provided to ensure your safety throughout the procedure.

After-Care
Post-treatment care is vital. We apply a soothing aloe vera gel to promote healing. We advise avoiding direct sun exposure and using high SPF protection for two weeks to maintain the health and radiance of your skin.
Repeat Sessions
To achieve a permanently smooth beardline, multiple sessions are required. These are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, targeting hair follicles during their active growth cycle for maximum effectiveness.
Before & After Treatment
- Shave Carefully: Shave the earlobes and outer rim 24 hours before your appointment. Use a small safety razor or precision trimmer to avoid nicks on this delicate skin.
- Remove Jewelry: Please remove all earrings, studs, or piercings in the ears before arriving for your session to ensure safety and full access to the treatment area.
- Sun Protection: Ears are frequently exposed to the sun. Wear a wide-brimmed hat or apply SPF 50+ to your ears daily for at least 2 weeks prior. We cannot treat sunburned ears.
- Clean Skin: Ensure your ears and the surrounding area are free from perfumes, hairspray residue, lotions, or makeup. Clean skin ensures the laser penetrates effectively.
- Tie Hair Back: If you have long hair, please tie it back securely away from your ears to allow the practitioner clear visibility and access.
- Apply SPF: The skin on the ears is thin and vulnerable. Apply SPF 50+ liberally to your ears if you are going outside, regardless of the weather.
- Cool the Area: You may feel a sensation similar to a mild sunburn. A cool compress or Aloe Vera gel can be applied to soothe any heat or redness.
- Avoid Heat: Avoid hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms for 24-48 hours. Heat can aggravate the treated capillaries and cause prolonged redness.
- Delay Jewelry: Wait until any redness or sensitivity has completely subsided (usually 24 hours) before re-inserting earrings or piercings to prevent irritation or infection.
- No Picking: If any minor crusting occurs, do not pick or scratch the area. Keep it moisturized with a simple, fragrance-free lotion and let it heal naturally.

- The skin on the ears is thin and close to cartilage, so you may feel a quick "snap" or warm pinch.
- However, the area is very small, so the treatment is incredibly fast—often finished in less than 5 minutes.
- It is very common! Fine, downy hair (vellus hair) is natural, but hormonal changes (such as menopause) can sometimes cause these hairs to become darker or coarser.
