Preparation
The area to be treated will be cleansed and prepared. While we recommend shaving 24 hours prior, we ensure the skin is perfectly prepped. Protective eyewear is provided to ensure your safety throughout the procedure.

Cooling & Comfort
Comfort is paramount at Rose Hill. Following the laser application, integrated cooling technology or a soothing gel is applied to calm the skin instantly, reducing redness and ensuring a pleasant experience.
After-Care
Post-treatment care is vital. We apply a soothing aloe vera gel to promote healing. We advise avoiding direct sun exposure and using high SPF protection for two weeks to maintain the health and radiance of your skin.
Repeat Sessions
To achieve a permanently smooth beardline, multiple sessions are required. These are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, targeting hair follicles during their active growth cycle for maximum effectiveness.
Leg Protocol
- Shave the Specific Area: Please carefully shave the area you wish to treat (either knee-down or knee-up) 24 hours before your appointment. This prevents surface burns and ensures the laser energy reaches the follicle.
- Remove All Products: Ensure your legs are free from body lotions, tanning oils, or creams. These products can create a barrier or increase photosensitivity, leading to adverse reactions.
- Avoid Fake Tan: Do not use fake tan for at least 2 weeks prior. The laser targets pigment, and fake tan can confuse the device, leading to less effective results or potential skin damage.
- Sun Protection: If you wear shorts regularly, ensure your legs have not had active sun exposure or sunburn for at least 2 weeks before treatment.
- Stop Waxing/Plucking: Do not wax, epilate, or pluck the leg hair for 4 weeks before your session. The laser needs the hair root to be present in the follicle to work effectively.
- Avoid Friction: Wear loose shorts or trousers immediately after treatment. Avoid tight skinny jeans, compression leggings, or long socks that rub against the treated area for at least 24 hours.
- No Hot Water: Avoid hot baths, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours. Keep showers lukewarm to prevent aggravating the skin, which may feel like a mild sunburn.
- Postpone Heavy Exercise: Avoid vigorous activities like running or football for 24-48 hours. Sweat and friction can cause irritation or folliculitis (red bumps) on the legs.
- Soothe the Skin: If your legs feel warm or itchy, applying Aloe Vera gel kept in the fridge is highly effective. Avoid heavy, perfumed body butters for a few days.
- Exfoliate After 1 Week: Gently exfoliate your legs in the shower 5-7 days after treatment. This helps dislodge the dead hair from the follicles and prevents ingrown hairs as they shed.
