Benefits of Lips Filler

Adds Volume and Plumpness: Creates a fuller, softer appearance, reducing the look of thin or aging lips.

Enhances Definition: Sharpens the vermillion border and Cupid’s bow for a more defined and attractive shape.

Smooths Fine Lines: Reduces the appearance of vertical ‘smoker’s lines’ around the mouth (perioral lines).

Restores Hydration: Hyaluronic acid naturally draws moisture, improving the texture and hydration of the lips.

The Architectural Balance

Dermal Volumization

A bespoke clinical protocol designed to restore lost volume and enhance lip definition at Rose Hill Aesthetics.

01

Architectural Mapping

We begin with a high-precision assessment of your facial symmetry. Strategic points along the vermillion border and Cupid's bow are marked, followed by the application of a clinical-grade topical numbing agent to ensure a comfortable experience.

02

Targeted Volumization

Using premium, medical-grade Hyaluronic Acid filler, our clinician precisely administers the formula into the dermal layers. This step focuses on restoring lost volume and creating a soft, naturally plumped appearance tailored to your proportions.

03

Precision Contouring

Once the foundation is set, we focus on fine-tuning the definition. We artistically sculpt the lip borders and Cupid's bow to sharpen the architectural structure of the mouth, ensuring results that are both defined and aesthetically balanced.

04

Refined Integration

The treatment concludes with a light clinical massage to ensure the filler is perfectly integrated. While initial results are immediate, the final refined silhouette settles over 14 days as the filler draws in essential hydration.

Vascular Optimization:

To minimize the clinical risk of bruising, avoid Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, and Fish Oil supplements for 1 week prior. Refrain from alcohol consumption for 48 hours before your appointment.

Cold Sore Management:

If you are prone to cold sores, please begin a course of antiviral medication (such as Acyclovir) 3 days before your treatment. Injections can act as a trigger, and we cannot treat active lesions.

Nutritional Support:

We recommend taking Arnica tablets or eating fresh pineapple (containing Bromelain) for 2–3 days before your session to help suppress post-injection edema and facilitate faster healing.

Clinical Timing:

Ensure you do not have any major social events, dental procedures, or international flights scheduled for 2 weeks following your treatment, as this allows for the initial swelling and settling phase to conclude.

Edema Management:

Apply a cold clinical compress or ice pack to the lips for 10 minutes every hour on the day of treatment. This significantly reduces swelling and provides immediate comfort to the dermal tissue.

Structural Integration:

Do not massage, rub, or apply firm pressure to the lips for the first 48 hours. The filler needs time to integrate into the tissue; excessive manipulation can cause the product to migrate from the intended area.

Activity & Heat Restrictions:

Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours. Increased blood flow and heat to the face can exacerbate swelling and prolong the recovery period.

Dermal Settling Phase:

Sleep with your head slightly elevated on an extra pillow for the first 2 nights. Initial results may appear "overfilled" due to swelling; please allow 14 days for the product to fully settle and the hydration to balance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do lip filler results last?
Lip filler results are temporary but long-lasting, typically enduring between 6 to 12 months. Longevity depends on the type of filler used and how quickly your body metabolizes the hyaluronic acid.
Is the treatment painful?
We prioritize your comfort. While you may feel some pressure, the procedure is made comfortable through the use of high-quality topical numbing creams and fillers that often contain lidocaine (a local anesthetic).
Will my lips look 'fake' or overfilled?
Our philosophy focuses on natural enhancement. Your specialist aims to subtly augment your lips to complement your natural features, ensuring a soft, proportionate, and beautiful result.
What is the downtime after lip filler?
Yes, Microneedling with PRP is a highly recommended combination (often called the ‘Vampire Facial’). Applying your own PRP during the treatment delivers powerful growth factors directly into the micro-channels for enhanced results.
