Micropigmentation Lips
Achieve beautifully defined, naturally enhanced lips with Lip Micropigmentation at Rose Hill Aesthetics. This semi-permanent cosmetic procedure carefully deposits medical-grade pigments into the upper layers of the skin, creating precise color, shape, and symmetry. The treatment enhances the lips’ natural contours, corrects uneven tones, and adds subtle fullness without the need for fillers.
Designed to provide long-lasting results, micropigmentation lips not only improve the appearance of lip color and definition but also reduce the need for daily makeup application. The process is minimally invasive, customizable to your preferred shade and style, and ensures a polished, natural-looking finish that complements your facial features.

Lip Blush
A high-precision semi-permanent protocol designed to restore youthful pigment and architectural symmetry at Rose Hill Aesthetics.
Hue Neutralization
We begin with a color theory assessment. If needed, we perform a neutralization step to correct cool or dark undertones, ensuring the final "blush" pigment heals into a vibrant and healthy pink hue.
Border Architecture
Using precision mapping, we redefine the vermillion border and Cupid's bow. This restores symmetry and creates the illusion of increased volume before the application of the topical anesthetic.
Pigment Implantation
Using advanced micropigmentation techniques, medical-grade pigments are implanted superficially into the lips. This creates a soft, diffused "tint" effect that mimics a luxury sheer balm.
The Perfection Session
Initial bold colors soften by 40-60% during the healing phase. A follow-up session is performed at 6–8 weeks to refine the saturation and ensure long-lasting, sophisticated results.

Hydration & Exfoliation:
For 3 days prior, keep your lips intensively hydrated with a clinical lip balm and drink plenty of water. Gently exfoliate with a sugar scrub 24 hours before to ensure the pigment implants evenly on a smooth surface.
Cold Sore Prophylaxis:
If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend taking an antiviral medication (like Acyclovir) 3 days before and 3 days after your session. Micropigmentation can trigger a breakout if the virus is present.
Avoid Vascular Thinners:
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and caffeine on the morning of your treatment. These can increase blood flow to the lips, which leads to increased swelling and poor pigment retention.
Dermal Filler Caution:
Ensure that your last lip filler treatment was at least 4 weeks prior to your micropigmentation session. The tissue needs to be fully settled to achieve accurate symmetry and border definition.
The First 24 Hours:
Gently blot your lips with a damp, sterile gauze every hour for the first few hours to remove excess lymph fluid. This prevents heavy scabbing and ensures the pigment stays locked in the tissue.
Moisture Management:
Apply the provided aftercare ointment thinly and frequently. Your lips should never feel dry or tight. Avoid using traditional lipsticks, glosses, or balms containing active acids for at least 10 days.
Dietary Restrictions:
Avoid spicy, salty, or very hot foods for the first 48 hours. When drinking, use a straw to prevent liquids from touching the fresh pigment. Avoid "stretching" the lips through wide yawning or biting into large fruits/sandwiches.
Healing Evolution:
Lips will appear very bright and slightly swollen for 2–3 days. By day 4, they may start to peel—do not pick. The color will temporarily "disappear" before blooming back into a soft, natural hue at 4 weeks.
